Almanac Terms of Use

By downloading, installing or using Almanac, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms apply to the Almanac mobile application for iOS and Android.

Almanac is a personal daily journal. It keeps one entry per day — a photo or short video, a note, a mood, a score and optional details — displays your year as a mosaic, counts statistics from your own entries, composes a yearly recap, and generates a printable almanac. All of this runs on your device; Almanac provides no account system and no server-side storage of your entries.

You are solely responsible for what you record and for ensuring you have the right to store the photos, videos and details of other people that you add. You are equally responsible for safeguarding the device your almanac is stored on. Because your entries never reach our servers, we cannot recover them for you after a device is lost or the app is deleted.

Writing a day, your streak, search, the mosaic and mood views, the statistics, badges, share cards and the JSON export are free. Premium unlocks completing older pages through backfill, keeping up to three photos, collages and short video per day, and a watermark-free printable PDF exported at full quality.

• Premium is sold as a subscription. The plans available, their price and their renewal terms are shown on the purchase screen before you buy; if a non-renewing option is offered alongside them, it is labelled as such there.
• Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play and are managed by those platforms; the price shown at purchase applies.
• Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
• Where you buy a subscription, it renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before that period ends.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription, see the renewal price, and restore a previous purchase from your store account settings or from within the app.

A streak counts only days recorded on the day itself. Days filled in from your photo library, or completed later with Premium, are marked as backfilled and do not extend a streak. This is deliberate: a streak that could be bought would not mean anything.

Almanac generates a print-ready PDF on your device. Printing it, and the quality of any print you order elsewhere, is your responsibility. A print-on-demand partnership that would ship a hardcover book to you is described in the app as planned; it is not available today, and nothing in the app places an order for a physical book.

Because your almanac is stored locally, keeping backups is your responsibility. The JSON export is provided for exactly that, but we are not responsible for entries lost through device failure, deletion, your operating system reclaiming storage, or uninstalling the app.

The Almanac app, its name, design and software are owned by TrackIt and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms grant you no right to our trademarks, nor to copy, modify or distribute the app except as permitted by the app stores' standard license terms. You retain all rights to the content you record.

Almanac relies on third-party services, including Adapty for purchases, Firebase and Amplitude for diagnostics and anonymous analytics, the Meta SDK for advertising measurement, and MapLibre for the optional map view. Your use of those services through the app is also subject to their respective terms.

Almanac is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, and the following applies where you obtained it from Apple. This agreement is between you and TrackIt only, not with Apple, and TrackIt alone is responsible for Almanac and its content. Your licence to use Almanac is a non-transferable licence to run it on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.

• Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Almanac; questions and complaints should go to trackit.tr@gmail.com.
• In the event of any failure of Almanac to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation of any kind, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform are TrackIt's responsibility.
• TrackIt, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claim relating to Almanac, including product liability, any failure to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.
• TrackIt, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of any claim that Almanac infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, have the right to enforce them against you.
• Where you obtained Almanac from Google Play, your use is additionally subject to the Google Play Terms of Service, and purchases are handled by Google rather than by Apple.

Almanac is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor that statistics, correlations or the yearly recap will prove meaningful for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrackIt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use Almanac.

We may modify or discontinue features of Almanac and may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised “last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
